Automotive Engine Oil Pump

Melling has introduced a new oil pump designed to address common oiling issues in Ford 4-valve engines—the High Volume Replacement Oil Pump, known as the M360HV. This pump enhances oil flow by 20%, which helps boost engine oil pressure by compensating for additional clearances caused by wear. Consequently, these pumps surpass original equipment manufacturer specifications to meet the rigorous lubrication demands of such engines.

Engineered by Melling, the M360HV is a direct drop-in replacement for the original oil pump, requiring no modifications to the engine, pickup tube assembly, or other components. It incorporates all the proven features of Melling's stock replacement M360 oil pumps, including the use of coated cast iron cover plates.

Compared to the standard M360 oil pump, the M360HV offers a 20% increase in oil volume capacity. Moreover, the M360HV pumps are set with a 20 psi higher pressure relief setting.

Each pump undergoes rigorous performance testing post-machining, cleaning, and assembly at Melling's facility in Jackson, MI.
